Tree matches miss the owner's tree name (ex; Smith Family Tree) and the country of the tree ownership (ex; Canada)
I've been using the site for over a year now and have spent many weeks building my family tree. It's got easy access to UK records, but the algorithms allow users to build faulty family trees without checking for duplicates or impossible dates. Also, if you remove an incorrect ancestor to replace it with the correct one, but you'd accurately traced the ancestry back beyond that ancestor, it breaks that section from the main tree, and you're left with what is effectively multiple family trees that aren't connected and can't be reattached. Unfortunately, there's no way to export your data into something easily printable, like a stylised chart.
Moreover, the site is regularly slow or fails to load. At one point, I lost a full day that I'd dedicated to working on my tree because it was down, yet the message was "our technicians are working on the issue", which is rubbish as it only came back online during business hours in the UK, meaning nobody was working on the problem for the 12 hours or so I was waiting to use it in Australia. (of note: it's "partly" working today, but not enough for me to actually do any additions to it)
Still, it's better than Ancestry.com, who bill you multiple times and whose website layout is far more confusing.

Extensive records and easily searchable. I was able to locate records on ancestors that I had been unable to locate on other genealogy websites.
Within a week of signing up, I had emailed another family tree connection on FindMyPast and found my grandfather's family in the UK that we never knew existed. Excited about my new connection
Find My Past has helped me locate some records that I was having trouble finding using other sources. I find it’s good to have multiple ways to look for ancestors and I like Find My Past’s format for presenting the records they’ve located - and the ability to indicate with a check mark which ones I’ve reviewed.

Negative:I am a customer in Canada & thought my fee was in CAD so was upset when I got my credit card bill & the price was totally different. The currency should be labelled in the price on the ads.
Positive: I love the feature that shows you that you have looked at a document before. In doing genealogy we often go over & over things, sometimes accidentally.
Findmypast offered a free trial for finding a relatives' wartime experiences with a deadline of 24 hours to go. I spent nearly an hour uploading the facts to find there were 35 possible connections. Problem being that to see those results one had to join up and pay for a subscription. I didn't.
FindMyPast is very frustrating. It has good content and a better searching process than others.
But, and this is a major issue, the website doesn't seem to cope with high volumes, i.e. the times when most people are able to use it!
Constant maintenance issues and high demand messages often make it impossible to use.
